I am a prenatal and postnatal fitness expert, a DONA trained birth doula, and a mom of three.
Third Trimester Comfort and Calm was created because I have seen so many people who thought they just had to live with the aches and pains associated with the third trimester, who wanted to make sure the exercises they were doing were safe for their bodies, and who wanted to approach their labor and birth with more education, support, and mindfulness.
I also created it because I have personally experienced the power of a solid support system- both physically and mentally- leading up to birth and I wanted to provide that for other birthing people in the world.
“I was able to modify {the workouts} easily and add additional reps and sets as needed. I was surprised how much it got my heart rate up (still in a safe way!) to include some cardio too. It’s very accessible even with minimal equipment at home.”- Marissa
“I liked the workout because it was simple with not too many movements, which makes it more realistic to actually do! Goblet squats are such an important staple! I have never done a written birth plan, but will do one this time, thanks to the template you provided!”-Stephanie
“I was surprised how much core work I could feel in each exercise which I liked as well, hopefully helping with prevention of abdominal issues postpartum.”- Joelle
The workouts will take you less than 30 minutes to do, and will take even less time once you are familiar with the exercises/movements. All workout instructions are in the portal and workbook for you to easily reference as well.
No, these workouts can easily be done from home using a few dumbbells, a set of mini bands, and a long loop band or band with handles. Each exercise has instructions on how to adapt it using other equipment as well.
Each exercise and stretch has a coaching video, so you’ll be able to easily follow my cues and adapt the exercises to what your body needs.
Yes, you have access to a private Facebook group where you can ask questions and receive coaching from me.
Yes! There is an entire pelvic pain track, so if you’re experiencing pelvic pain you’ll get specific coaching on options that work for you in the videos.
