 I'm right there with you. I’ve felt all of these feelings and more so so many times.

My name is Madison Cleckler, trainer for moms and birth doula. I began my career in the fitness industry as a trainer in a small studio, mainly working with people who were in pain and wanted to fix it. Then I got pregnant with my son, Eli, and I saw just how big of a gap there was in the fitness industry for moms. There was so much variation in what doctors were recommending for pregnant women- from the incredibly conservative “don’t lift over 10 pounds” approach to the hands-off “just do what you always did” approach. Not only that, but TONS of moms were experiencing crippling pelvic pain, back pain, incontinence, and were terrified at even the mention of diastasis recti- including myself.

I knew there had to be more.

After Eli was born, I struggled with postpartum depression, anxiety, and body image. As a trainer who had never been the definition of “fit”, the overwhelming “body back” messaging out there broke me. Not only was I not bouncing back like everyone told me I would, I was also struggling with incontinence and pelvic pain. In the process of breaking, learning more about prenatal and postpartum fitness, and building myself back up again, I created a business to give other moms what so desperately needed at that time…

A different message

A message that was less about how our bodies looked and more about how they feel. A message that lifted moms up rather than placing another expectation on them. A message that showed moms how strong, capable, and confident they could be in their own, unique body.

I talk to moms every day who are worried about what pregnancy and postpartum might do to their bodies, who feel broken in their bodies, and who are feel less than because of the way their body looks after babies.. It's always felt to me that society wants women to be smaller, to take up less space both physically and emotionally.

I’m here to help you take up some damn space. That’s what sets my soul on fire.

 Since I started this business in 2017, I’ve had the pleasure of helping so many incredible women feel strong and confident in their bodies. Because, let’s be honest, the messages out there can really make us feel broken, like our bodies is failing us by being bigger, squishier, and different than before, like we have to live with pain and leaking forever “because we’re a mom now”, and that we can’t live the active lives we desire with our families because of diastasis recti or prolapse.

Moms deserve better. That’s why I’m here.

I'm an expert in prenatal and postnatal fitness with a background in biology and anatomy and a side hustle as a birth doula. My passion is helping moms live an active life pain and symptom-free, exercise comfortably in pregnancy, recover well after birth, and feel confident in their amazing bodies. I do this because I’ve witnessed how strong, resilient, and adaptable women are.. and you deserve to feel that way.
